Enriching lives in our community with dignity and respect
Support Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Intervention for Peace provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1994 with the purpose of helping individuals live complete lives with dignity and respect, our family owned-and-operated agency is privileged to share in the realization of individuals’ dreams as they strive toward independence. Currently, we serve about 120 individuals through the Individual Options Waiver Program.
All support services provided are person-centered, offering opportunities to:
- Exercise choices and options
- Enhance daily living and life skills
- Improve communication, socialization, interpersonal and educational skills
- Increase self-esteem
- Increase levels of community participation and inclusion
The individuals we serve are unique; all aspects of an individual are considered for meeting a person’s needs and goal outcomes.
